Ordering, delivery & returns.

Your certificate

Our nikah-namas are personalised, unframed printed keepsakes. Choose A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) at £49 or A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) at £69. Personalisation is included. Each is printed on 300gsm smooth white matt uncoated card. Digital downloads and frames are not included. The names, dates and locations in the photographs are examples. Screens and printed colours can differ slightly.

UK tracked delivery and protective packaging cost £6.95 per order, displayed separately. The total for one A4 certificate is £55.95; one A3 certificate is £75.95. These are the final customer prices; no additional tax is added at checkout. Each checkout covers one certificate. International delivery is not currently available.

Personalisation & payment

At Stripe checkout, confirm your design and enter both full names and the actual nikah date in DD/MM/YYYY format. Use “Bride: full name; Groom: full name” in the names field. Please check the spelling and delivery address carefully, and provide another person’s details only with their permission. Any Hijri date is a calendar conversion and can differ from a local moon-sighting date; email us if you need a particular observed date.

Stripe handles payment and provides a payment confirmation. Mehrvar then reviews the order details before preparation. We will contact you if anything needs clarification. A saved basket or enquiry is not a paid order. We do not store your full card number. Keep your payment reference and a copy of these terms; you can save or print this page using your browser.

Dispatch & delivery

Please allow 3–5 working days from payment for personalisation, preparation and dispatch. Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays. If we need clarification or there is a delay, we will contact you with an updated dispatch date.

Dispatch is when we hand your certificate to the carrier; delivery time is additional. Allow approximately 2–3 working days after dispatch for UK tracked delivery. This is an estimate, rather than a guaranteed arrival date. Certificates are sent flat in protective packaging. Contact us before ordering if you have an essential ceremony deadline.

If your parcel is delayed, missing or damaged, email hello@mehrvar.com with your reference so we can investigate with the carrier. Your order remains our responsibility until it reaches you or someone you have asked to receive it. Any statutory rights relating to late or failed delivery remain unaffected.

Changes & cancellations

Email hello@mehrvar.com as soon as possible if you need to amend or cancel your order. We offer a full refund if you cancel before personalisation work begins. Once work has begun, changes or a change-of-mind cancellation may no longer be possible; we will confirm the position before charging for any additional work.

Because each certificate is made to your personal specifications, the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right for online goods does not apply. This does not affect your rights if the certificate is faulty, damaged or not as described.

If we accurately reproduce an incorrect name or date supplied by you, that is not a printing error on our part. Contact us and we will quote for any replacement before proceeding. If we make an error, we will put it right at no extra cost in line with your consumer rights.

Problems, returns & refunds

If your certificate is faulty, damaged or not as described, contact hello@mehrvar.com with your reference and a description of the issue. Photos can help us resolve it, but are not a condition of your legal rights. You may have a right to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery where applicable.

We will arrange any required return and cover reasonable return postage for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods. Where a full refund is due for the order, we will also refund its standard delivery charge. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within the applicable legal time limit. Please contact us for return instructions rather than sending the certificate to a printing partner.

Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory consumer rights. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund any payment for the unfulfilled order.

Ceremony enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date. Availability, fees, travel arrangements and service-specific booking and cancellation terms are agreed personally before any ceremony booking or payment. A religious nikah and this keepsake certificate do not replace any civil marriage registration required for legal recognition.
