What is a Nikah Nama?

A Nikah Nama records details of an Islamic marriage ceremony. Mehrvar’s personalised printed certificates are designed as commemorative keepsakes of your nikah day.

Can I personalise the certificate with our names and wedding date?

Yes. Your certificate is personalised with the bride’s full name, the groom’s full name and the actual nikah date. Enter the spelling exactly as you would like it printed, with the date in DD/MM/YYYY format, on the secure checkout page.

Is Mehrvar’s certificate printed or digital?

Our current certificate collection is printed only. Each certificate is supplied unframed; downloadable digital certificates are not offered.

How much does a personalised Nikah certificate cost?

A4 certificates are £49 and A3 certificates are £69, where available, including personalisation. The Turquoise Covenant is A4 only. UK tracked delivery and protective packaging are £6.95 per order, shown separately before payment.

How long does dispatch take?

Please allow 3–5 working days from payment for personalisation, preparation and dispatch, plus approximately 2–3 working days for UK tracked delivery. Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays. We will contact you if any details need clarification or the dispatch timing changes. Read our delivery and returns information.

Do you also offer Nikah officiation?

Yes. Mehrvar welcomes nikah ceremony enquiries in West Yorkshire and UK locations by arrangement. Tell us your preferred date, time and location through our existing ceremony enquiry form. Availability and arrangements are confirmed personally before a booking is made. Enquire about your nikah ceremony.
